Irys Prime Launches, Introducing True Legal Intelligence
Irys, the legal AI infrastructure company, today announced the general availability of Irys Prime — the first release of its platform designed to meet the precision standards that legal practice demands. The launch follows two years of development focused on solving the systemic architectural failures that have limited adoption of AI in professional legal work.
Irys Prime introduces four integrated capability areas: Matter Intelligence, which persists context across the full lifecycle of a legal matter; Authority Retrieval, a jurisdiction-aware pipeline that separates retrieval from reasoning; Document Analysis, which processes legal documents with entity extraction tuned to legal concepts; and Draft Assistance, which generates citable output with full source provenance.
"Most legal AI tools work in demos and fail in practice because they were not designed to the standard legal work actually demands," said Sabih Siddiqi, founder of Irys. "Irys Prime is our answer to that gap — built for the lawyer who needs to stand behind the work, not just get it done faster."
The platform ships with a complete audit layer that traces every factual claim in a generated output back to a specific retrieved source, addressing the professional responsibility requirement that lawyers understand and supervise AI-assisted work. The company says the audit layer is an architectural requirement, not an optional feature.
