The published policy
Northwestern Pritzker's Student Handbook states that unless expressly permitted by the instructor, students are prohibited from using generative AI to produce, derive, or assist in creating any materials or content submitted to the instructor. Instructors retain discretion to permit AI use in their courses and must notify the class of any permitted use. The Handbook also states that improper use of AI-generated content is a violation of Northwestern's academic integrity policy and the Law School Honor Code.
