Set AI instructions once at the Workspace level and they're inherited by every Matter and chat inside it.

Switch to the Workspace
Workspace admins and organization admins can edit AI instructions.

Open the AI instructions section in Workspace settings
The settings panel exposes a free-form text field for the prompt.

Save
Open any Matter inside the Workspace and start a chat — the instructions are now part of the AI's context.
The cascade
AI instructions are layered from broadest to narrowest. Workbench reads every level that applies, in this order:

More specific levels add to broader ones rather than replacing them. Where two levels conflict, the more specific level wins for the conflicting point.
