Trust & permissions
Letting Workbench reach into your accounts calls for a trust posture that is not an afterthought. Connections are built for privileged work.
Read and limited write
Every connection runs on a read and limited write posture. Workbench can search and read across the accounts you allow, and it can create drafts and documents, but it does not act beyond what you permit.
It never sends on its own
Email tools draft. They do not send. A reply Workbench prepares sits in your drafts in Gmail or Outlook until you review it and send it yourself. Actions are confirmation gated.
You decide what each chat can touch
You control, per chat, exactly which accounts Workbench is allowed to use. A matter can be locked to documents only, or scoped to specific accounts, for example Drive and Gmail but nothing else.
Because access is set per chat, a matter that should never reach email can be kept to documents only, while another can be given the specific accounts it needs.
