Irys Lite is the full Irys platform at $19.99/month, for individual use. Every feature is included - drafting, research, the AI Assistant (with Everyday, Deep Research, and Agent Mode), the Word Add-In, all of it. Lite includes a daily AI message limit and a 175MB storage allowance - everything else is unlimited.

Usage caps

What's not included
Irys Lite is a single-user plan. Multi-user collaboration, shared workspaces, organization creation, and firm admin controls are not available. For these, see Irys One.
How daily messages work
Every query to the AI Assistant counts as 1 message against your 125/day limit — standard chat, Drafting Assistant, Deep Research, and Agent Mode all count equally.
Messages that fail or don't complete do not count toward your daily limit. The counter resets at midnight in your local timezone.
Get started with Irys Lite
Sign up
Navigate to core.iqidis.ai and create an account. Sign up with your email or continue with Google.
Choose Irys Lite during plan selection
When prompted for your role during signup, select Lawyer or Other - Irys Lite appears in the plan options for both. Choose Irys Lite to continue.
Start using the platform
Create your first Matter, upload documents, and use the AI Assistant. Irys Lite shows a popup when you reach either usage limit.
When you hit a cap
When you hit either cap — daily messages or storage — Irys shows a popup. From the popup you can:
- Upgrade to Irys One ($299/month) and continue immediately
- Close the popup and keep using everything that is not gated by that cap
Your work is preserved. Hitting a cap never deletes a Matter, a document, or a draft.
Upgrade to Irys One
Irys One ($299/mo) lifts every Irys Lite cap - unlimited messages, full storage, multi-user collaboration, and organization creation.
Open Account & Billing
Click your profile menu in the top-right corner of the platform, then select Account & Billing.
Select Upgrade to Irys One
Click Upgrade. You'll be taken to checkout to confirm your billing details.
Confirm payment
Your plan changes immediately. All your existing matters, Playbooks, and uploaded documents carry over.
If you are a 2-50 attorney firm, Irys Teams ($329 per seat/month) is the right plan. You can move from Lite straight to Teams.
About your receipt
Your Stripe receipt and checkout will show Irys Lite as the product name. The merchant of record on your billing is Iqidis, Inc. Irys is a product of Iqidis, Inc.

Is the Word Add-In included on Irys Lite?
Yes. Every paid Irys plan, including Lite, includes the Microsoft Word Add-In at no additional cost.
Can I cancel Irys Lite anytime?
Yes. Cancellation is self-serve from your account settings. The 90-day deactivation window and one-click reactivation work the same way on Lite as on every other plan. See How cancellation works.
Do I need a student email or any verification to sign up?
No. Irys Lite is open to everyone - no .edu email, no student verification, no approval process.
