What you get

Ask for the work. Get the file.

Get back the file itself: a Word doc, an Excel workbook, a PowerPoint deck, a PDF, a redline, an email draft, a research report. Built inside your matter, ready to use.

Draft

Motions, memos, contracts. Delivered as a Word or Google Doc, ready to file.

Redline

Mark up any agreement and generate a clean redline you can send.

Compare

Diff versions, clauses, filings, or whole document sets. Every change, surfaced.

Research

Answers backed by cited authority, written up as a research report.

Build

Turn a data room into an Excel workbook or a PowerPoint deck.

Revise

Ask a follow-up, refine the output, regenerate. The work carries forward.

You didn't get into law to be the glue between your tools.

A chatbot in a box answers a question and stops. You carry the context between tools that were never built to talk, then turn the answer into the work.

A chat in a box
  • Open email for the document
  • Switch to the drive for the exhibit
  • Jump to research for the statute
  • Paste it into a chatbot that can't see any of it
  • Copy the answer back out, then build the document yourself. Repeat.

You became the integration layer.

With Workbench
  • Ask once, in one place
  • It reaches into your tools and does the work
  • The finished document folds back into the matter

The tools come to you.

How it works

Prompt once. It does the rest.

One agent plans the work, reaches into your systems, and brings it back to the matter. No jumping between apps. No rebuilding context.

01

Plans the work

Breaks your ask into steps and picks the right tools for each one.

02

Reaches your tools

Pulls from your matters, documents, email, and connected systems.

03

Does the work

Drafts, compares, and cites real authority linked to the actual reporters.

04

Brings it back

Every result folds into the matter, organized in the Insights Map.

Every practice

One workspace. Every practice.

Litigation, transactional, regulatory, in-house. Whatever the matter, the same surface does the work.

Criminal litigation

Read the docket and inventory every pre-trial motion, by category, party, and disposition.

M&A due diligence

Answer a Delaware governance question against the actual board minutes, cited to real reporters.

Open-source risk

Diff a software bill of materials across quarters and surface a hidden AGPL license risk.

Integrations

Connects with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and the tools you already use.

FAQs

Workbench is an AI teammate for legal work. You ask in plain English, and it uses your apps to do the work and put it back in your case, so you don't have to jump between tools.

A general AI like ChatGPT or Claude doesn't know your case, starts fresh every time, and can't reach your files or email on its own. Workbench is built for legal work: it lives inside your case, connects to your apps, grounds its analysis in real case law and statutes, and never sends anything without you.

When you add files to a case, Workbench reads them and builds a simple map, the people, dates, money, and promises, all linked to the file they came from. The AI uses this map so it always knows the facts of your case.

Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Outlook, OneDrive, and Slack, plus real legal research. It can search them, read them, write drafts, and pull files into your case.

No. It writes drafts, but you hit send. And you choose exactly what it can see in each chat.

All kinds. Litigation, deals, and in-house work all run the same way: you ask in plain English, and Workbench uses your case and your apps to do it, then hands back a draft to review.

Everyone in a legal practice, from a solo lawyer to a big firm, plus the paralegals, assistants, and ops people who keep it running. It's in beta. Try it at workbench.irys.ai.
