Word Add-In
The Irys Word Add-In brings the Irys sidebar into Microsoft Word, so you can work with AI directly inside the document you already have open. No tab switching, no copy-paste between windows.

What you can do
Chat mode
Ask questions about the open document or your full matter — summarize, identify key terms, analyze a case, or run research queries. Results appear in the sidebar alongside your document. Conversations persist across interactions, and you can view chat history or start a new chat at any time.
Work mode — Document Editor
Give an instruction and the AI applies revisions directly in Word as tracked changes. Review the change count, then Accept All or Reject All.
Three one-click quick actions are available:
- Fix Grammar
- Make Concise
- Professional Tone
You can also give free-form instructions — for example, "add a force majeure provision after Section 4" or "rewrite the indemnification clause to be mutual."
File upload
Upload up to 5 additional files (PDF or DOCX, 50 MB each) for the AI to reference alongside the open document. Useful when you need to cross-reference another agreement, a brief, or supporting documents.
Upload to Library
Save your document to your Irys Library directly from the Word sidebar. It lands in your drafts folder — no manual upload needed. Everything you draft or edit in Word stays connected to the Irys platform.
Requirements
- A valid Irys One subscription.
- Microsoft Word for desktop (Windows or Mac).
- Sign in with the same credentials you use at core.iqidis.ai.
Two ways to install
- From within Word: go to Insert → Add-ins → Get Add-ins, search for "Irys", and click Add.
- From Microsoft AppSource: search "Irys" on the Microsoft AppSource marketplace and click Get it Now.
